I have no idea what the protocol for launching a website is. But I am here to go so consider this a bottle of champagne broken across the bows of the good ship www.stuartmaconie.com. Or a wetting of the baby’s head. Or a bottle of champagne broken over the baby’s…no, wait that’s a terrible image.

Essentially, I’m here to tell you a little about myself. My name’s Stuart and I do various things for fun and profit. I present radio shows. I make the occasional TV programme. I fight crime. Well, not really. But what I really do, my first love and ongoing passion, is writing. Over the past few years, I’ve written several books which has given me masses of pleasure and interest and satisfaction and I hope some of that’s been communicated to the people who’ve bought and read them. If that includes you, thank you. My books will be the focus of this website. I have a new one out right now, it’s called Hope And Glory and you can find out a lot more about it here, as well as the others. I hope this will also be a place where I can share the occasional blinding insight, trivial digressions, gripes and enthusiasms. And you too I hope.
